Let shoppers save products they love to a personal list and come back to buy later. Saved items stay with the visitor — even guests — and merge into their account when they log in.
Part of the WooCommerce Conversion Suite. Requires WooCommerce + the WooCommerce Conversion module.
The two pieces
- Wishlist Button — the "Add to Wishlist" heart that visitors click on a product.
- Wishlist Page — the page that lists everything a visitor has saved.
You'll usually add the button to your product cards/pages, and create one Wishlist Page that the button links visitors to.
Adding the Wishlist button
You have two easy ways:
Option A — Turn it on inside the Product Grid (recommended)
- Edit a page with Elementor and select your Tiger Product Grid widget.
- Open the Wishlist & Compare section in the Content tab.
- Switch Show Wishlist Button → On.
A heart icon now appears on every product card. It fades in when a shopper hovers the card, and stays visible (filled red) once an item is saved.
Option B — The standalone Wishlist Button widget
Use this inside a single‑product template or a custom product loop:
- Drag the Tiger Wishlist Button widget where you want it.
- Set the label, choose icon position, and style it under the Button tab (Normal / Hover / Saved states).
Building the Wishlist page
- Create a new page, e.g. "My Wishlist".
- Add the Tiger Wishlist Page widget.
- (Optional) Set the Empty Button Link to your shop page so visitors with an empty list have somewhere to go.
- Publish, then link to this page from your menu, account area, or the wishlist count in your header.
Wishlist Page settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Layout | Show saved products as a Table (rows) or a Grid (cards). |
| Grid Columns | How many products per row in grid layout. |
| Show Price / Stock / Add to Cart | Toggle each column on or off. |
| Add to Cart Label | Customise the button text. |
| Empty Message / Button | What shoppers see when their wishlist is empty. |
When a shopper removes an item, it fades away instantly — no page reload — and the empty message appears once the list is clear.
Styling
Everything is styleable in Elementor's Style tab: item background, borders, spacing, thumbnail size, title and price colours, and the Add‑to‑Cart button (normal + hover). The heart's "saved" colour can be set on the button widget.
Tips
- Add a wishlist count to your header with the
0shortcode — it stays in sync automatically as items are added or removed. - Keep one Wishlist Page for the whole site and link to it everywhere.
- The heart works on guests too — encourage sign‑in so their list is saved to their account.
Troubleshooting
The heart button doesn't appear on my product grid. Make sure both WooCommerce and the WooCommerce Conversion module are active, then confirm Show Wishlist Button is switched on in the grid's *Wishlist & Compare* section.
A saved product isn't on the Wishlist page. Only published, in‑catalogue products are shown. If a product was unpublished or deleted, it's automatically skipped.
Items disappear when I clear cookies. Guest lists are stored in the visitor's browser. Encourage shoppers to log in — their list then lives with their account.
