Let shoppers preview a product in a pop-up — image, price, description and Add to Cart — without leaving the page they’re browsing. Fewer clicks means more sales.

Part of the WooCommerce Conversion Suite. Requires WooCommerce active.

Turning it on

  1. Edit the page with Elementor and select your Tiger Product Grid widget.
  2. Open the Wishlist & Compare section in the Content tab.
  3. Switch Show Quick View Button to On.

An eye icon now appears on each product card. Clicking it opens the product in a pop-up — with no page reload.

What’s inside the pop-up

  • Product image, linked to the full product page.
  • Title and star rating (shown only when the product has ratings).
  • Price, including sale price if any.
  • Short description (shown when set).
  • Add to Cart with quantity — and the full variation selector for variable products.
  • A “View full details” link to the complete product page.

Shoppers can add to cart right from the pop-up, then keep browsing.

How it works

The eye button carries the product’s ID; clicking it makes a secure, nonce-checked request that returns the product’s summary and renders it in a modal. The request works for logged-in users and guests, and it uses WooCommerce’s own add-to-cart template — so variations, stock and pricing behave exactly as they do on the full product page. Only published, catalog-visible products are returned (editors can preview hidden ones).

Closing the pop-up

The pop-up can be closed three ways, so it always feels natural: the × button, the Esc key, or a click on the dark area outside it. It’s fully keyboard-accessible — focus moves into the modal on open, is trapped inside while it’s open, and returns to where you were when it closes — so keyboard and screen-reader users can open, use and close it comfortably.

Tips

  • Quick View shines on shop and category grids where shoppers scan many products at once.
  • Write a useful short description for each product — it’s the headline content shoppers see in the pop-up.
  • For variable products, Quick View shows the full variation selector, so customers can pick options without opening the full page.

Troubleshooting

The eye icon doesn’t appear.

Confirm WooCommerce is active, then switch on Show Quick View Button in the grid’s Wishlist & Compare section.

The pop-up says it couldn’t load the product.

This happens only if the product was unpublished or hidden from the catalog. Re-publish the product and try again.

Add to Cart doesn’t update for variations.

Make sure the product’s variations are set up and in stock. Quick View uses WooCommerce’s own variation system, so anything that works on the full product page works in the pop-up.
