The Schema Markup widget adds search-engine structured data (JSON-LD) to a page without code — the machine-readable description that can earn rich results in Google.
Where: add the Tiger Schema Markup widget to the page whose content you’re describing, and pick a Schema Type.
Supported types
- FAQ Page — question/answer pairs eligible for the FAQ rich result (with an optional visual accordion so the same content is shown on the page).
- Article — headline, author and dates for news and blog posts.
- Local Business — name, address, hours and contact for a physical location.
- Organization — your site-wide business identity.
- Product — name, price and rating for shop pages.
- Breadcrumb List — the page’s position in your site hierarchy.
- How-To — step-by-step instructions.
- Event — dates, location and ticket details.
Manual or automatic sources
Several types can pull their values automatically from the current post (Article), from your site settings (Organization), or be generated (Breadcrumb), instead of typing everything by hand — so the markup stays in sync with the content. Fill the fields for your chosen type and the widget emits standards-compliant schema.org JSON-LD, the format Google recommends.
Avoiding duplicates
Emit one block of markup per schema type per page. If your SEO plugin (or the Marketing & SEO module) already outputs Article or Organization data site-wide, use this widget for the page-level types it doesn’t cover — FAQ, How-To, Event, Local Business.
Troubleshooting
Google’s Rich Results Test finds no schema.
Confirm the widget is on the published page (not just a template preview) and that the required fields for the chosen type are filled — an incomplete type may be skipped.
I see a “duplicate field” or conflicting-schema warning.
Another plugin is emitting the same type. Turn one source off so only a single block of that type is output per page.
The FAQ content shows twice.
Both the visual accordion and a separate FAQ block are on the page. Use the widget’s Show Visual FAQ option as the single source of the questions.
