Design your header, footer, single‑post, archive and 404 pages visually in Elementor — no theme files, no code. Build a template once, choose where it applies, and Tiger Elements puts it on the front end automatically.
Requires: the Theme Builder module enabled in Tiger Elements → Settings.
What you can build
| Template type | Replaces |
|---|---|
| Header | Your theme's site header (logo + menu bar). |
| Footer | Your theme's site footer. |
| Single | The layout for single posts / products / any post type. |
| Archive | Blog, category, tag, shop and other listing pages. |
| 404 | The "page not found" screen. |
When a header or footer template is active, your theme's default header/footer is hidden automatically, so you never get two stacked on top of each other.
Creating a template
- Go to Tiger Elements → Theme Builder.
- Click Add New and choose the type (Header, Footer, Single, Archive, 404).
- Design it in Elementor.
- Set the Display Conditions (below) — where it should appear.
- Publish.
Display conditions — where a template appears
Conditions decide which pages a template shows on. You can add several, and mix Include and Exclude rules.
Common conditions:
| Condition | Shows on |
|---|---|
| Entire site | Every page. |
| Front page | Your homepage. |
| All singular / Posts / Pages | Every single item, or just posts / just pages. |
| A specific page/post | One chosen page or post. |
| All products *(single)* | Every WooCommerce product page. |
| Archives / Category / Tag | Listing pages, or a specific taxonomy. |
"More specific wins"
If two templates of the same type both match a page, the more specific one is used. For example, a header set to *Front page* will override a header set to *Entire site* — but only on the homepage. This lets you have one site‑wide header plus special headers for certain pages.
You can also set a Priority number on a template to break ties manually (lower number wins).
Tips
- Build a site‑wide header and footer first (condition: *Entire site*), then add special versions for the homepage or landing pages as needed.
- For a shop, create a Single → All products template to control every product page's layout, and an Archive template for the shop/category pages.
- Headers can be made sticky using Tiger's Sticky options — it works correctly even on non‑Elementor pages.
Troubleshooting
My header/footer template isn't showing. Check that it's Published and has at least one Include condition that matches the page you're viewing.
I see two headers (mine and the theme's). This is rare and depends on the theme. Tiger hides the common theme headers automatically; if your theme uses an unusual structure, your developer can add its selector via a simple filter.
The wrong template shows on a page. Remember "more specific wins". Check whether another template has a broader condition (e.g. *Entire site*) and set a Priority if you need to force one.
My template's design looks unstyled on the front end. Re‑save the template in Elementor so its styles regenerate, then refresh the page.
More template types
| Type | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Loop Template | The repeating “card” used by the Dynamic Loop / Query Grid widget (and archives) — design one card, it’s reused for every item. |
| Section Template | A reusable section you can drop into any page via the Theme Builder Section widget — build it once, update every instance from one place. |
WooCommerce templates
A separate WooCommerce Templates panel on the same screen covers the store’s key pages:

| My Account | The customer account area — dashboard, orders, addresses, account details, navigation. |
