Your license key activates Tiger Elements Pro — unlocking the Pro widgets, modules and one-click updates. The Free plugin needs no license (every Free feature is fully unlocked); if you own Pro, download the Pro plugin from your account, install it over Free (your content and settings carry over), then activate your key.
Where: Tiger Elements → Settings → License, or the License & help card at the bottom of the Dashboard — both show the same panel.
Activate
- Paste your key into the Enter License Key field and submit.
- Activation ties the key to this site through your Tiger account and immediately unlocks the Pro widgets, modules and one-click updates.
- To move the license to another site, click Deactivate from the same card to free up the seat first.
After activation, Tiger periodically re-validates the license in the background (a lightweight heartbeat). If the check can’t reach the server for a transient reason — the network is down, the API returns a 5xx — it fails open within a grace window, so a brief outage never strips your Pro features mid-session.
License states

A definitive “inactive” answer from the server — a cancelled or revoked license — drops the Pro entitlement right away rather than waiting out the grace window, but your key is kept so a later renewal silently re-activates on the next heartbeat.
Troubleshooting
Activation says the key is already in use.
The seat is bound to another site. Deactivate it there first (or from your Tiger account portal), then activate here.
Pro features vanished after working fine.
Check the card’s status. Grace usually means a renewal or payment needs attention; error means the last check found the license inactive. Resolve the subscription and the next heartbeat restores access.
Updates aren’t offered.
One-click updates require an Active license. Confirm the status is Active and that your server can reach accounts.tigerelementswp.com.
