The Tools screen keeps your Forms data healthy — export entries to CSV, clean up stale records and files, check system status, and run database maintenance.
Where: Tiger Forms → Tools.
Export submissions
Download entries as a CSV for reporting, backup or migration. You can narrow the export by:
- From / To — a date range.
- Form widget id — export a single form’s entries instead of everything.
Leave the filters blank to export all stored submissions, then click Download CSV.
Cleanup
Remove data you no longer need. Tick the targets you want and click Run cleanup:
- Orphaned files — uploaded files with no submission row behind them.
- Expired pending submissions — half-finished entries older than 7 days (for example, payments that never completed).
- Integration logs older than 90 days — trims the delivery-log history (off by default).
System status
A read-only checklist of what the plugin depends on, each marked OK or Check: PHP version, WordPress version, whether Elementor is active, the libsodium/OpenSSL/mbstring/curl/fileinfo extensions, WP-Cron, the current schema version, Action Scheduler availability, whether the uploads directory is writable, and the plugin’s REST URL. Below it, a Server Health card surfaces anything that needs attention. Use this first whenever something isn’t behaving.
Database
- Re-run migrations — re-applies pending database updates if a schema step was ever missed (safe to run; it only brings the tables up to date).
- Reset (drop tables) — deletes all Tiger Forms tables and starts over. This is destructive and double-gated: you must type RESET into the confirm box before it will run. Back up first.
Tips
Run Cleanup periodically to keep the database lean — and if you need an archive, run an Export before you delete anything. When you hit an unexpected error, open System status before anything else; a red Check row (missing extension, unwritable uploads, stale schema) usually points straight at the cause.
My schema version looks out of date — what do I do?
Click Re-run migrations. It re-applies any missed updates and bumps the schema version without touching your existing entries.
Is Reset reversible?
No. Dropping the tables permanently removes forms and submissions. Only use it to start clean, and always export or back up beforehand.
