Getting started & modules

Tiger Booking is modular — enable Appointment, Hotel, Fitness, Rental and/or Restaurant. The Setup Wizard gets you a first bookable item; disabled modules add no overhead.

Tiger Booking is a modular booking platform. It ships as a lightweight kernel plus self-contained modules — you turn on only the verticals your business needs, and the admin menu, settings tabs and front-end assets all adapt to match. A disabled module loads no code, so it adds zero overhead.

Where: WP Admin → Tiger Booking (the first launch opens the Setup Wizard); modules are managed under Tiger BookingSettingsModules.

First run: the Setup Wizard

On the very first visit the plugin shows a one-time Setup Wizard that walks you through choosing a module, entering your business identity, and creating your first bookable item. Once you finish, first-run is marked complete and the wizard is replaced by the normal Dashboard. You can trigger the wizard again from Tiger BookingTools, which resets module data and returns you to first-run.

The modules

The Appointments module is bundled in the core (wp.org Lite) build. Every other vertical is downloaded on demand from the Cloud Center.

  • Appointments — services, employees, availability and time-slot bookings for appointment-based businesses.
  • Hotels — room types, nightly rates, extras, housekeeping and date-range reservations.
  • Fitness & Classes — class types, instructors, schedules, passes and credit packs.
  • Hourly Rental — rent spaces and equipment by the hour with multi-resource, conflict-free scheduling.
  • Restaurant — table reservations with dining areas, party-size availability and deposits.

Installing more modules

Open SettingsModules. Modules already installed on the site appear with an activation toggle; ones you have not yet added show under Available in the Cloud Center.

  1. If your license entitles you to a module, click Install — it downloads, installs and reloads the admin.
  2. If it is locked, use Unlock in Cloud Center to upgrade, then return and install.
  3. Toggle any installed module on or off at any time; the menu and settings rebuild instantly.

How the admin is organized

The whole navigation lives in the WordPress submenu under Tiger Booking — the app does not render its own sidebar. Each active module contributes its own section pages (for example the Appointments module adds Dashboard, Bookings, Services, Employees, Availability and more). Shared pages sit alongside them: Customers, Waitlist, Reviews, Activity Log, Settings and Tools.

Troubleshooting

I don’t see a module I expect.

A module only shows menu items and settings tabs when it is both installed and activated. Check SettingsModules — install it from the Cloud Center if needed, then switch its toggle on.

How do I start over?

Go to Tiger BookingTools. The reset there deletes every booking and all module data and re-runs the Setup Wizard, while keeping your branding, email templates and license. It cannot be undone.

Frequently asked questions

No — enable only what you need in Settings → Modules.

Yes — e.g. appointments + hotel together, with cross-module analytics.
