Tiger Forms can bring your existing forms — and, where they exist, your past submissions — in from the most popular WordPress form plugins, so switching doesn’t mean rebuilding everything by hand.

Importing is included in both the free and Pro versions of Tiger Forms.
How to import
- Go to Tiger Forms → Import in your WordPress admin.
- Tiger Forms lists every form it finds in the other plugins on your site, with a field count and (where available) an entry count.
- Click Import next to a form. If that form has stored entries, tick entries to bring them across too.
- The form is recreated as a draft so you can review it, then publish when you’re happy.
Your other form plugin is only ever read from — Tiger Forms never changes, deactivates, or deletes anything in it. Run both side by side while you migrate, and remove the old one when you’re ready.
What comes across
- Field types are mapped to their closest Tiger Forms equivalent.
- Choice options (dropdown/radio/checkbox values) are preserved.
- Required fields stay required.
- Imported entries keep their original submission date.
What to double-check after importing
- Labels — Contact Form 7 stores field names, not labels, so imported CF7 fields are labelled from the field name. Rename them to taste.
- Advanced fields — very specialised source fields are imported as the nearest simple field; rebuild those with Tiger Forms’ native versions.
- Notifications & integrations — set up email routing, payments and integrations fresh on the imported form.
