Coupons, waitlist & reviews

Run promotions with discount coupons, let customers join a waitlist for full slots, and collect post-booking reviews for social proof.

Beyond taking bookings, Tiger Booking bundles three tools to help you run the business: coupons for discounts, a waitlist for full slots, and reviews for social proof.

Where: Coupons live in Tiger BookingSettingsCoupons; Waitlist and Reviews are their own top-level pages under Tiger Booking.

Coupons

Create discount codes that customers apply at checkout. In SettingsCoupons, click New coupon and set:

  • Code — the text the customer enters (e.g. SUMMER25). Codes are automatically uppercased and limited to letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores.
  • Discount type & value — a percentage (1–100) or a fixed amount off.
  • Max redemptions — how many times the code can be used in total (0 = unlimited).
  • Expiry date — an optional date after which the code stops working.
  • Active — a toggle to enable or pause the coupon without deleting it.

Add as many rows as you need and save; blank rows are ignored.

Waitlist

When a slot is full, customers can join a waitlist and be notified if space opens up. Manage entries at Tiger BookingWaitlist. Each entry moves through a status you control:

  • Waiting — the customer is queued for an opening.
  • Notified — they’ve been told a slot is available.
  • Fulfilled — they booked the freed slot.
  • Cancelled — they’re no longer waiting.

Filter the list by status and update each entry as you work through the queue. The Waitlist page self-gates — it shows a Pro upgrade notice where the feature isn’t included in your plan.

Reviews

Collect post-booking reviews to build trust. Manage them at Tiger BookingReviews. Submitted reviews arrive as pending and each carries a star rating and comment. Moderate them with three actions:

  • Approve — publish the review as social proof.
  • Reject — hide it without deleting.
  • Delete — remove it entirely.

Filter by pending, approved or rejected to work through the moderation queue. A Review Request email (see SettingsNotifications) can automatically invite customers to leave one after their booking.

Troubleshooting

A coupon isn’t accepted at checkout.

Confirm it’s marked Active, hasn’t passed its expiry date, and hasn’t hit its max redemptions. Remember codes are uppercase — enter them exactly.

Reviews never appear on the site.

New reviews are held as pending until you Approve them from Tiger BookingReviews. Only approved reviews are shown publicly.
