The Course Reviews widget lists student reviews for a course — each with a name, star rating and comment — and shows a review submission form to eligible learners. It provides social proof on course pages and lets students rate what they have taken.

Where: Elementor editor → search “Course Reviews” → drag onto the canvas.

The widget is in the Tiger LMS category. Submitting a review is available to eligible logged-in students; everyone else sees the reviews list.

Content settings

The Content tab holds a single Course ID control. Leave it 0 to use the course currently being viewed, or enter a specific course ID to show reviews for one fixed course anywhere on the site.

Style options

The Style tab has two sections. Review styles each listed review:

  • Name color and name Typography.
  • Stars color for the rating.
  • Body color and body Typography for the comment text.
  • Divider color for the line between reviews, and Item padding.

Review Form styles the submission form:

  • A Border group control on the comment field and rating input.
  • A Submit button group with Text color, Background, Typography, Border radius and Padding.

Layout tips

  1. Match the Stars color to the rating color used elsewhere on your site for visual consistency.
  2. Style the Submit button to match your primary buttons so the form feels native to the page.
  3. Place the widget lower on the page, after the curriculum, so visitors read existing feedback before the form.
  4. Set a comfortable Item padding and a soft Divider color so a long list of reviews stays easy to scan.
  5. Give the form fields a matching Border and the submit button a rounded radius so the review area feels like a single, polished unit.

Troubleshooting

No reviews appear.

The course has no approved reviews yet. The list fills in as students submit ratings, so a newly launched course will show only the form (to eligible students) until the first review lands.

The form is missing.

The submission form appears only for eligible logged-in students — typically those enrolled in the course. Visitors and non-enrolled users see the reviews list without the form.
