The Course Progress Bar widget shows an enrolled student’s completion progress for a course as a styleable track-and-fill bar with a percentage label. It gives learners an at-a-glance sense of how far they have come.
Where: Elementor editor → search “Course Progress Bar” → drag onto the canvas.
The widget lives in the Tiger LMS category. Meaningful progress renders only for a logged-in, enrolled student.
Content settings
The Content tab holds a single Course ID control. Leave it 0 to use the course currently being viewed — on a single-course template or in the lesson player — or set a specific course ID to track one fixed course.
Style options
The Style tab has two sections:
- Bar — the bar’s Height (2–40 px), Border radius (0–100, applied to both track and fill), the Track color (the empty background) and the Fill color (the completed portion).
- Label — the percentage text’s Color, Typography and a Spacing above slider that sets the gap between the bar and the label.
The fill width is calculated from the student’s actual completion, so you only style it — you never set a value.
Layout tips
- Place the bar at the top of the lesson player or student dashboard so progress is always visible.
- Match the Fill color to your brand accent for an instantly recognizable progress cue.
- A fully rounded Border radius gives a soft pill shape; keep it at 0 for a flat, technical look.
- Pair a thin bar Height with a compact label for a subtle header cue, or a taller bar for a dashboard hero that emphasizes momentum.
- Use a muted Track color against a vivid Fill color so the completed portion clearly stands out from the remainder.
Troubleshooting
The bar sits at 0% or is hidden.
Progress is per enrolled student. Sign in as an enrolled learner — visitors and users who have not enrolled have no progress to display, so the bar reads empty or does not render.
The label percentage does not match the lessons finished.
Completion is measured against the course’s current lesson list. If you add or remove lessons in the Course Builder, each student’s percentage recalculates against the new total on their next visit.
