Teams let you sell a single plan to an organization with multiple seats. A team wraps one shared membership on a plan; a team owner invites people, and each accepted member gets access under that plan without a separate purchase.

How teams work
Seats live on the team, not the plan — so any active plan can be “teamified” simply by creating a team against it; there is no special team-plan flag. Every active team member resolves to the team’s plan exactly as a personal membership would, which means your Has plan and Status is rules protect content for the whole team automatically.
Team fields
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Team Name | The organization’s name |
| Owner Email | The account that manages the team and invites members |
| Plan | The membership plan the whole team shares |
| Seats | How many members the team can have (seats total) |
| Seats used | Live count of pending + active members occupying a seat |
| Members | Who currently holds a seat, with each member’s status |
| Status | Team state (active / inactive) |
Inviting members
From a team, use Invite a member to send a seat invitation by email. An invited seat counts as pending until the person accepts, at which point it becomes active and inherits the team’s plan access. Invitations are capped by the number of Seats — you can’t invite past capacity.
How to set up a team
- Go to Teams → New Team.
- Enter a Team Name, the Owner Email, and choose a Plan.
- Set the number of Seats and save.
- Open the team and use Invite a member for each seat.
Troubleshooting
I can’t invite another member.
Seats are full. Pending invitations already consume a seat — cancel an unaccepted invite or raise the Seats count before inviting more people.
An accepted member still can’t see members-only content.
Access flows from the team’s plan through your Has plan / Status is rules. Confirm the team’s status is active and that a rule grants the team’s plan; the member also needs to be logged in to the invited account.
The owner shows as “(deleted user)”.
The WordPress user behind the Owner Email was removed. Edit the team and set an existing account as the owner.
