Privacy Policy

Last updated 22 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Tiger Elements (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you use our websites, account portal, and plugins (the “Services”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

Tiger Elements provides WordPress plugins and related services, sold and supported through tigerelementswp.com and the account portal at accounts.tigerelementswp.com. For the personal data described here, we act as the data controller. You can reach us at support@tigerelementswp.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account data — your name, email address, hashed password, and (if you enable it) two-factor authentication settings.
  • License & activation data — the products and plan you own, and the domain names, activation status, and IP addresses of the WordPress sites where you activate a license. This is used to enforce activation limits and secure your license.
  • Order data — a record of your purchases, plan, and invoices. Card details are handled by Paddle, not by us (see §5).
  • Support data — the contents of support tickets and chat messages you send us, and any attachments.
  • Affiliate data — if you join the affiliate program, your referral activity, earned commissions, and the payout details you provide.
  • Usage & technical data — log data such as IP address, browser type, and pages accessed, used to operate and secure the Services.

3. How we use it

We use personal data to: create and secure your account; deliver, update, and enforce your licenses; process orders and provide invoices; provide support; run the affiliate program; send essential service emails (such as verification codes, receipts, and security notices); prevent fraud and abuse; and comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the account, licenses, and support you purchased); legitimate interests (to secure the Services, prevent abuse, and run the affiliate program); legal obligation (to keep tax and accounting records); and consent (for any optional marketing, which you can withdraw at any time).

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), which acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase. Paddle collects and processes your payment details and billing information directly and is an independent controller of that data under its own Privacy Policy. We receive from Paddle a record of the transaction (such as your name, email, country, plan, and order id) but not your full card number.

6. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the Services, under appropriate agreements, including:

  • Paddle — payments, billing, and tax.
  • Our hosting and email providers — to host the Services and send transactional email from our domain.

We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a business transfer. We do not share your data with advertisers.

7. Cookies

The account portal uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in (a session cookie) and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. Our marketing site may set a referral cookie when you arrive through an affiliate link, and may use limited analytics; where required, it will ask for your consent. Strictly necessary cookies are required for the Services to function and are not used for advertising.

8. Data retention

We keep account, license, and order data for as long as you hold an account and for as long as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Support records are kept while relevant to your account. You can ask us to delete your account, subject to records we must retain by law.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email support@tigerelementswp.com. If you are in the EU/UK and believe we have not handled your data properly, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Security

We protect your data with measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, optional two-factor authentication, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you of serious incidents where required.

11. International transfers

Our providers, including Paddle, may process data in countries outside your own. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we and our providers use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

12. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.

14. Contact
