The Marketing & SEO module centralises the technical marketing plumbing a site needs — analytics, search-engine verification, site-wide structured data and a light technical-SEO layer — so you never edit theme files or stack single-purpose snippet plugins.

Where: WP Admin → Tiger BlocksToolsMarketing & SEO. Enable it under Modules & WidgetsMarketing & SEO.

Analytics & verification

  • Google Analytics 4 — paste your G-XXXX measurement ID and the gtag snippet is printed site-wide.
  • Google Tag Manager — add your GTM-XXXX container ID; both the head script and the <body> noscript iframe are output for you.
  • Site verification — drop in your Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster codes to prove ownership.

Structured data

Fill in your organisation name, logo and social profile URLs and the module emits Organization and WebSite JSON-LD (the latter including a site search action) on every page. This is the site-wide schema layer; for content-level structured data (FAQ, Article, Product, How-To, Event, Breadcrumb) use the Schema Markup block on the page itself.

Technical SEO

  • Meta description & social cards — a default description plus Open Graph and Twitter tags, with a fallback OG image. Singular posts prefer their own excerpt and featured image.
  • robots.txt additions — append custom directives to the virtual robots.txt.
  • No-index archives — tick which archive types (author, date, tag, category, search) should carry noindex, follow.
  • Per-page SEO box — a Tiger SEO meta box on every public post type for a custom SEO title, meta description and a per-post no-index switch.
  • 404 redirect — send not-found requests to your home page or a chosen page.

Plays nicely with SEO plugins

If a dedicated SEO plugin is active — Yoast, Rank Math, All in One SEO or SEOPress — Tiger Blocks steps aside on the front-end meta/title/OG output so the two never fight. Analytics, verification and schema still work; the description and social-tag layer defers.

Troubleshooting

My GA4 or GTM code is not appearing in the page source

The IDs are format-validated before they are printed. A measurement ID must look like G-XXXXXXX and a container like GTM-XXXXXX; a mistyped value is silently skipped. Re-check the ID and save again.

My meta description is not showing

If Yoast, Rank Math, AIOSEO or SEOPress is active, Tiger Blocks yields the description and Open Graph tags to that plugin by design — set them there instead. With no SEO plugin present, confirm the field is filled and that the archive is not marked no-index.

Frequently asked questions

It covers the technical essentials — verification, analytics, custom head/body tags and site-level schema. It coexists with SEO plugins; use whichever owns your titles and meta descriptions.

In the Marketing & SEO settings there are dedicated fields for search-console / site verification codes and analytics IDs, so you never edit theme files.
